How do you load CDs to the hard drive and play them directly from the hard drive.

When you put a CD in, there should be a record button on the display. Press and then it will then rip the CD as you listen (store on HDD). Unfortunately i think you need to listen from start to finish (from track #1) for this to work.

Thereafter you should have another source item for your audio system (called MUSICBOX) in addition to CD, AM, FM etc.

I think the TA button is for other markets, doesnt do anything here in australia as far as i know.

got too many mp3 cds in my glovebox

given it will only rip actual cds, can i rip an audio cd using my mp3s and nero - or does it know if they are genuine audio files?

I don't know answer; would like to know too. Personally i think the whole musibox thing is a PITA and i dont bother with it. It would have been great if we have a memory card slot and it could just play from there.

my '10 has memory card slot in the armrest

but just like adding an ipod, searching through gigs worth of songs is a drainer

id rather stick with my burnt mp3 cds

It's good to load up the HDD and memory card with plenty of music and have the playlist selected at random. I have about 25 hours of music on the CF card and plenty more on the HDD.
