Hi all,

So just got a new blog up (www.sidd-rishi.com.au/blog)

Still lots of content to add, but if anyone can take a look and add some suggestions that would be great

I got one feedback already - the slideshow on the front page looks different in different broswers. Firefox seems to be spot on with the pic filling up the page properly or being in the center.

If you have any other improvements/suggestions etc that would be wonderful.

Thanks,

Thanks for info Sid. and feedback kory!

Bangaz. i set up the tripod late afternoon. took a pic during natural light for grass and sky.

then waited half hour for it to get dark, and started taking long exposures painting the car contours with a little led torch. took about 20 pics all up, only used about 10 or so.

Just cut and pasted the parts i liked on top of each other then shifted the colour (car was blue from torch), and touched up the background to try and make it look as if it's real. Took ages, but i know i can do it now, so i'll try it again with a clean car and decent composition in the near future :/

My blog is all wordpress.. the main site i had to customize a few things..

Setup your site on wordpress!! its very easy to do.

I swear Sidd, you quote me word for word on the above hahahahahaha. You love wordpress now? :P

Matt - Everytime i see your name i just think of the Sierra Sierra driver David Empringham (sp?) haha.

There are a few spelling and grammatical mistakes, but I notice these things because I'm pedantic about it - sorry dude!

Oh, with the photos displaying large, do you have the option to click on one side of the photo to advance forwards and backwards (like on RedBubble), or not?

Otherwise, it looks pretty good!

It's already July, but these were taken very late in June, so I'll link them to this thread.

I attended and helped out at a magazine launch and between doing a couple of shifts working the door I took the opportunity to snap off some photos. Here are my favourites from the night. Oh, the magazine is PAN magazine, by the way - arts, culture, fashion, music, literature, etc.

One of the artworks on display and for sale to help fund the launch of the magazine - it's a recreation of a ribcage and organs set inside a light bulb:

Their other guitarist (this was snapped between the front speaker stack and a set of curtains just behind them to the side of the stage):

Another one from that same spot (obviously the focus wasn't quite right, but it was taken in a hurry as the singer swayed back and forth):

    • I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'
    • D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.
    • KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.
    • Well, the good news is you have more than one very good option for new coilovers in and around your country. Worth the drive over to KW to talk about GTR stuff.
    • Fair enough, I am in no way a tire expert so I'm not familiar with all the terms and conditions. I'll definitely note down the AD09 to potentially try in the future. Rain is not too big of a concern for now as I will probably only drive in the rain when I have to. And considering I still lack experience driving the GTR I'd more than likely take it easy too. I have coilovers in the car but as I barely got to drive so far I never bothered to even check if they are adjustable haha. The suspension is almost entirely old and worn as well so I suppose when I eventually fix that in the future that would make a huge difference.
