feul pump question

dudes got my hands on this pump, but dont know wat is or out of.

try to attach pics, it has these numbers on it, can anyone identify them. my guess is its a gtr pump....maybe

I dont know how old it is so if u guyz had the choice wud u use this one or buy a new bosch. I have heard it running and it has noticeable whinning so i dont know if its signs of old age or normal for the pump. it looks ok but not sure .

i need to change my standard pump on my r32 gtst and was hoping to use this one.

All I can tell you is that from the looks of it, its a GTR/Z32 pump. the older ones have black rubber around them, but otherwise look identical. The diaphram at the top gives it away.

Some what stabbing in the dark now, but the R32GTR/Z32 ones have black rubber, the R33 ones dont, as per the photo you have up.

I must qualify and say that I have only ever seen about 8 or 10 of these before, so I am not 100% sure. It will probably make less noise when it is in the tank and has fuel to suck. Should be good for around 250rwkw.

very similar to my pump which i think is a r32 gtr pump, except instead of 8Y09, mine has 3215.

I wouldn't worry about the whine.

The GTR pumps are loud as all hell compared to the GTST pump.

I remember when I put a GTR pump in it had 2 noises...

a slight buzz at idle then a higher, louder whine/buzz when the accelerator is touched.

Can someone please advise about the black rubber surround on the GTR Pump. I have what i was informed a R34 GTR pump and it has the black rubber surround. Can this be correct?

for the record in the pics, the 2 black bits holding the pump is cable ties.

Does anyone know what the "unisia" part means? I have a pump that i have been told is GTR, but would like to verify.

part number---- A42-656053 only says JECS

The pump seems to be made by Hitachi Unisia Automotive (OEM manuf.) making it and OEM part. So I think its a standard R33 or R34 GT-R fuel pump.

cant be sure, but jvs007's im very sure is an OEM nissan fuel pump, probably GT-R going by previous posts.

Riverside, the gtr and z32 pumps (both the same) have the little diaphram sitting on top of them, other nissan pumps dont.

i found the pump is a r32 gtr pump. the gtr pump has a round 20cent size diaphram sitting on a angle at the top. gtst pumps dont have this at the top. also found out it was really noisy cauz the pump was cable tied directly on the bracket meaning metal on metal contact and the metal braket sits on the metal fuel tank hence the noise !
