Hi guys

Sadly the time has come to sell my R32. This is purely to pay off debts & get my house savings back on track, as everything has gone into the car for the last couple of years. It has been my daily driver for the 2 & a half years ive owned it, & very rarely had any problems. Its just kicked over 184xxx kms & still going fine. Located in Western Sydney, about 20kms from Penrith.

Its a 1992 R32 GTS-T, RB20DET, was running around 145kw at the rear wheels on stock turbo & ECU with stock boost on last dyno run.

Extras:

Blitz FMIC

Splitfire Coil Packs

UAS cerametallic clutch

rebuilt & shimmed factory LSD

R32 GTR front seats

slotted front rotors

stock airbox & BOV for legality purposes with K&N panel filter

3" exhaust turbo back with hi-flow cat

reconditioned power steering pump & hoses to reservoir

new dust boots on steering rack

HICAS lock bar on rear

RB25 pink label AFM

adjustable fuel pressure regulator

All work has been carried out by UAS in 7 Hills NSW. I have receipts for somewhere in the region of $10k worth of parts & labour for this car.

Theres more i know ive forgotten, so PM me with any more information you require.

Ive just put 12 months rego on the car today. Rego now til 5th of June 2011!!!!!

Also, for an extra $800, i have a R32 GTR genuine bonnet & grille with no dents, as well as a GTR latch & a litre of colour matched factory paint that i can supply for this car. Depending on how long this takes to sell, it may be sprayed & fitted to the car before it sells....asking $10,500 with 12 months rego. This is NEGOTIABLE!!!

Im forced to sell now, so throw me offers via PM. Prefer local interest, not interested in sending interstate at this stage.

$9500 with GTR bonnet painted & fitted, including grille & GTR latch....& rego til June 2011!!!!!

Also i should add, i recently added up all the receipts i have for work & labour on the car, not including services for oil changes or anything, but genuine parts & labours its cost me just short of $9000 all up.

Hi cmoney

Can't reply to your PM as I don't have enough posts.

This does look like a nice car, will keep it in mind, no promises though, I don't want to stuff anyone around! but was wondering if you had better quality/more photos of it?

hey, just thought i would let you know im actually in brisbane, but i mean i can travel thats not really an issue, if you were to sell the car for lowest amount what would that be, and obviously that would be without rego and what not, interstate and what not

thanks

Probably $7000 with the rego its got on it. That would be minus splitfires, gtr setas, boost controller, wheels i would fit my spare set of 16" R34 GT wheels instead of the 17" rims on it now, & catch can. I would of course track down a set of GTS-T seats & fit them so you could actually drive it, as i sold my original set to a mate.

If you wanted to tow the car back i can cancel rego, probs knock another $500 - $1000 off for that, as i can recoup both rego & insurance money that way.

I think in that state, the lowest would be about $6000 roughly, unless you can think of anything ive missed.

PM me & let me know if thats any good for you....

Cheers

Still for sale?

if you're still thinking about swaps maybe you'd be interested in my turbo pulsar, its a 2000 model sedan with turbo conversion, engineered, long NSW rego, lots of cash spent and receipts to go with it.

PM or post in the thread if you're interested.

Na sorry guys, not for sale anymore.

Ive got me a new job so i can quite comfortably pay out the loan, & ive acquired an RB25DET motor for it, so sooner or later il be putting that in.

Thanks for the offers all the same.

    • Behrman is great quality stuff. My 34 has some serious clouding as well but I’m too nervous to try and replace the glass myself so I haven’t bought them yet.
    • This might be true if you live in NZ but I can't see how this could be true for us locals here.  I've found the customer support for Haltech to be absolutely amazing. I've turned up to Haltech and spent entire days with their tech support guys, they've even helped me with wiring dramas that had nothing to do with their products.  They have the best customer support of any company I've dealt with, I can't imagine how my experiences with them could possibly be any better.
    • If you want to do a single throttle body conversion easily, you won't need to pull anything apart. Take the linkage from your throttle off the linkage controlling the ITBs. Now open the ITBs wide open, and lock the linkages in said position. Now add a single throttle body onto the front of your inlet plenum. No it's not ideal for the last nth of a kw, but it'll be a lot better than what you're already trying to do...   PS, ITBs can be so damn hard to tune from, because roughly 20% movement in a throttle body equates to a change in roughly 80% of its flow (Hence power). When you add up the flow limitations of those small throttle bodys, it is a LOT higher than that of a single large throttle. Hence, TPS is very very sensitive with them, and you do a LOT of work with sensor fusion, and some Maths behind the scenes to make those blends nice, and be smooth.
    • Yep, when Haltech purchased Adaptronic, and all of the Adaptronic staff, including Andy went with it, it took Haltech to the next level. Haltech wanted Adaptronic as they wanted things like Andy's fuel models, and some other IP, AND they wanted Andy too as he is brilliant! Andy has spoken about the incompatibilities between the old 1500 stuff vs Nexxus, and it totally makes sense. It's not JUST software that is different, there is huge changes in the underlying hardware too. It's why Haltech has had soooo many changes in the last couple of years, in terms of Hardware, and Software, and why it has become so damn Amazing. Why do you think guys like Rob Dahm with his quad rotor, went from running Adaptronic's to running Haltechs? Andy. Pretty much, Haltech these days, is Adaptronic, but with more funds behind it, and more staff, and hence Andy's visions, and visions of other people that he helps shape their great visions, into amazing new products. All the new Nexxus gear, whole new software for it, new and better dashboards, the apps that will run on headunits and NOT be slow to respond! I understand people being burnt in the past, but if you're ragging on a company, about products and issues from many years ago, it's more a reflection on yourself, not looking or keeping up with new stuff. In which case, those people should be going back to PowerFC and Nistunes as the ECU's to rave on about...
