Keyless Entry Problem

Hey guys,

A while ago I was in a car club called VMC and we used to meet on Tuesday nights at Anaconda in Bayswater (any former members???). I bought a keyless entry/remote engine start package and got a mate called Nath to install it.

Was all good but my mate couldn't get the drivers side to unlock when you pressed the button. It was a long time ago but I think he said the reason was its an older model (1993 Nissan skyline) and it was missing a wire or something.

Since my mate installed it the vmc site got hacked and subsequently shut down, I got pissed and lost my phone. I cant contact the guy (Nath with the sprinter if anyone knows of him..), so I would ask anyone on this site if they know what the issue could be?

Or even better if they can fix it for a nominal fee .

guys i can pay top dollar for anyone who knows how to fix it!

personally id take it to a mechanics / even a decent electrician might know..

one area where you want things done right in my opinion is alarms

mechanics dont really want to touch the elec part of it and being an import they tried to convince me to go elsewhere for just a service!

anyone know of any good auto elecs in the melbourne eastern suburbs area? (mitcham ish)
