Bonnet Pads.

Morning! These bonnet pads, are they ok to remove? Or, will removing it, put more heat on your bonnet and accelerate the fading process?

I dont really know my self :S.

And does anyone else do this?

it's not there for heat it's there to deaden engine noise. My Mazda Familia rally car cam from factory without one and the road version comes with it. all I can say is, after a hard drive you DO NOT want to lean on your bonnet! On the plus side it will make a great backup frying pan if you ever felt the need to cook up some bacon on a cruise Your paint will not fade any quicker due to heat on it. Paint fades through UV radiation not heat or your whole engine bay would have faded paint

Why do you want to get rid of it anyway?
