R34 Turbo Question

hi sorry for the noob question

im just wondering if there is any signs of a stock turbo letting go before it actually happens .

ive searched other topics and they have been helpfull, it covers generally alot about the stock turbo letting go through high boost and damaging the engine etc.

if you running stock boost and the turbo lets go is there any possibility it could damage the engine etc ?

because i was just thinking as a precaution if it can, ill hiflow the stock turbo to steel to avoid this happening and possibly having to do an engine rebuild, is that a good idea or no ?

or is it safe and nothing to worry bout if your only running stock ?

if you are only running stock boost then the turbo SHOULD be fine, but that said, if the turbo was given a hard time by the previous owner it could let go at any point, but it is unlikely.
