As others have said, a Nistune is just as good as any other aftermarket ECU, if not better. A good tuner will connect the ECU to a laptop with proper software to display all the readouts (and more) that the PowerFC HC does, heck if ya get the software you can do it yourself and tune on the fly, just like a PowerFC. Only thing is the Nistune will always need a AFM (as far as I'm aware?), where some ECUs like the PFC Djetro dont need one, which _could_ be a limiting factor in making big BIG power.

AFM's aren't really a limitation as there are VQ maps offered by nistune for the ford lightning AFM's which support 800hp, so with a GTR you could run up to 1600hp using the lightning AFM's.

Also if you have the VQ raw data you can program your own VQ map for any AFM you like.
