I installed a Hybrid Front Mount intercooler on the weekend and had to remove a piece of the factory intercooler plumbing where the hose from my bleed valve was connected.

What I'm wanting to know is where can I plumb this line into now? What has everyone else done in this situation?

Thanks.

i dont think it will work off the bov hose. U will have to tap into the intercooler piping. I say drill a small hole then buy somthin at a phnematics shop like pirtek that would have a valve with a thread in it. Then screw it in there. Otherwise i can send u a piece that would work.

Ok, well i helped install a Hybrid monster kit on a mates car about 3 weeks ago now.

We were shocked to find it doesnt have the plug on the intercooler piping to fit the bleed valve, basically we drilled a hole in the pipe, fed a hollow bolt through it and put a nut and tighted it on the outside (the nut is on the outside)

worked fine.

But still doesnt answer why they dont come with it already, ALL the other IC kits ive seen do

You can use the inlet plenum vacuum hose to get a pressure reading. Nothing wrong with that. The good thing is that the boost will be more consistant because the turbo will help compensate the pressure loss through the intercooler and throttle body.

Otherwise tap it after the intercooler. I dont recommend doing it before the intercooler really...
