Someone said PB2000N in their post earlier, so please ignore my question.

It's me saying that. Got an email reply from them saying PB2000N will be the one best suited for my v35. I think "N" is just indicating it's for Nissan.

Hey guys.... drove out to the west this afternoon and for the first time, I actually spotted m35s on the road twice! :D

Guess the car is getting more n more popular...

Anyway, was at a takeaway place today and picked up a copy of the Auto-trader. Saw that there is a M35 up for sale in Speedy 5000 Panmure going for $10.5k! Says it has "good KMs". Car looks nice with a good set of 18" mags....

Just thought i'll give an update on my reverse sensors... got them installed y'day and seems to be working quite well. The shop didn't really have a set that matches the car's color well, so had to get them sprayed. Just did that myself y'day. Seller advice to just spray one thin layer which is what I did. Now colour matches perfectly and luckily don't think there's any adverse effect on the sensitivity of the sensors!

Will try to post some photos of the sensors later this week.

Any of you guys driving with the plate "V35GT"? Saw it heading over the bridge heading north on Thursday night. Nice car...win4ever?

Cheers

Hey Tim, any idea what colour is the car? Anyway, that's not me.... =) Hopefully he/she will join this forum though! =) With a number plate like that, he/she must definitely be a v35 fan!

Hi, I am pretty sure it was the same colour as yours mate as it was a bit dark.

Cheers.

Ic.... Hmmmm.... an identical twin brother! :)

Gotta say I hardly see any v35 coupe in this colour actually in Auckland.... so will be keen to meet that car. Will keep an eye out for it when i am over at the shore! :P

Anyway, just back to the discounted fuel topic we discussed earlier, last Thursday, the Mobil at Smales Rd was selling RON98 at $1.76!!! RON91 was down to $1.61.... I just love that place.... now Thursday is my refueling day! :P

Hey guys/gals,

I am also a member of the NZ Primera Car Club. They are having a track day at Taupo on 2nd Oct on Track 2. It is a good time to test your skills and your car. No one is racing as such and you do what you can within your limits and drive your car at a speed that you feel safe at. Male and females drivers all come together on the day and have fun and that all in a safe environment.

Its $100 only for the full day. Good, safe fun. I am taking my skyline down for a blast as we don't get to do this on public roads. Track is the safest place to do this. I see another M35 coming on the day as of now.

So if anyone one of you guys are interested, let me know. Will be great to see some more skylines around.

Hey X! Thanks for the update! Unfortunately, I can't make it on that weekend due to work commitment (company doing a major business IT system change that I'll need to be on call just in case the IT team needs details fr Finance).

However, if there are more of such events, i'll probably be keen to try one! Cheers!

Common guys we can make a mini skyline meet out of this. Meet up somewhere in Auckland in the morning, convoy down to Taupo, maybe stop over for snack somewhere. Then full fun day at the tracks, maybe get pizza delivered for lunch. Then once the day is over, convoy back up to Auckland or stay over at Taupo at a hotel/motel, relax and return the next day.

Good family fun weekend too.

sounds like good fun x! U heard anything fr anyone? I can't make it unfortunately on that week. But if we have another one wif a few m35s n v35s next time I'll be interested.

No one has said anything wins.

Hmmmm.... everyone's been pretty quiet lately (including myself due to the insane workload I have at the office atm). How's everyone going?

Anyway, saw a couple of v35 coupe on the weekend. A white one along Ti Rakau Drive on Sunday evening and another silver one on the motorway.

It's perhaps the first 2 coupes I saw on the road since I got my car! :D

Hi guys.... saw a M35 (FMH 726) at Aero Parks (one of the open air airport parking) today. In fact, the owner was picking up the car together with me after returning from the airport. Wondering if he is someone in the forum?

Also, drove side by side with another silver v35 coupe last Thursday in the morning near Pak n Save Manukau. Any chance that person is in this forum?

Spotted a silver v35 coupe in wairau park today, it was a bit low for my tastes though, looked like a rather bumpy ride, cats eyes become speed humps spec.

I was in Wairau Park today too at around 2.30pm! Didn't see any other v35 coupe or m35 though. Anyway, the v35 coupe is abit bumpier than a usual sedan, but still alright for me. After almost 3 months having it, I am still enjoying it as if it's the first day I got it! I am scheduling a service with City Nissan soon (sometime next week) so will update everyone on my experience with them.

    • I have an Elite 2500, honestly most of this has been a lot of smaller tasks chasing little details and a whole lot of life getting in the way of bigger projects. I don't mind too much looking at a spectrograph vs having audio knock ears.
    • Nah nah nah nah. Don't do it. It's not all about the full throttle power delivery. The main "street fun" and drivability gains from smaller rear (in this case) is how you will have boost available from a low rpm when yo just roll onto the throttle. Think jinking in and out of traffic, coming out of roundabouts, etc etc, where you just want to roll onto the throttle a little and have the spooly noise from ~2000rpm and a swell of torque. More of what you've already achieved by going to 2.5. And then, towards the tail end of 2025 you can pull the turbo 4 out and put in a V8 like we originally suggested. :P
    • Cheers for the info mate, I'm old too, 60 years old next May, so a more linear delivery of the 0.86 would be better as baking tyres and snapping heads isn't on the cards for me or the car I assume a more linear power delivery would be better for engine and drivetrain reliability as well, IRT the torque load at lower RPM???, as well as lower EGT's???, if my understanding of that is correct, have I got that right??? I've only got a really basic understanding of turbo sizing and all there characteristics  Cheers for the useful information
    • What kind of power delivery are you after? If it's nice and linear, the 0.86 would be better. If you're after bake tyres and head snaps on boost the 0.64 would be fun. I'm boring and old, so linear power is preferred. Lately I've been watching videos on Z06 Corvettes and super charged Mustangs....
    • I’d go the smaller rear just because you’re staying on 98, if e85 I’d go the bigger one
