Stuff like this makes me sad. Why does some low life have to steal / damage something that someone has worked so hard for ????

I hope u get your car back and find out who did it.

Probably not likely but will keep an eye out down south in case they decide to sell it or bits interstate.

AURGH god i hate people that steal someone elses pride and joy. Thats so low.

I bought a house 18 months ago, and if i sold it today, id walk away with 140 000 dollars profit. It was so easy, so whats friggin wrong with these arseholes, who have to make a quick buck by HURTING someone else?????

I hate to say it, but it sounds like its a proffesional job, that car is probably all pulled apart now and they are selling the parts......F*CKING B*STARDS....

Sorry to hear... at first i just assumed it was in Sydney...

Anyway - the information you have posted is very good... hopefully someone will come across something you have mentioned.

Good luck mate...

ps- i am also curious as to how it happened to as there is a discussion in the Vic section that reckons they can get into a 33 without tripping the alarm.

Harun, Man that sucks the big one...... Can you tell us the brand and info of the alarm fitted and the comments from your insurance company? I am yet to have a customers vehicle stolen and try to stay ahead of trends when it comes to theft. I have had customers vehicles vandalised and that sucks but is unavoidable. kep us updated. and fu#k you you theiving bastards. :cuss:

The alarm name is Vulcran or something like that. The R33 and Nissan 200sx alarm is very easy to trip.

Due to cicumstances i can not explain were or exactly how the car got stolen at the moment.

Insurance is giving me headaches due to were the car was stolen from and for other reasons. I know i wont be going to Famous Classic Car Insurance nor to any other insurance company that is underwriting for an International insurance company as you can not seek legal help.

Harun

ps. once again thank you to those who are keeping and eye out and for your support.

Farking bastards!!!!!!!

Some people just dont understand the time/effort and pride and joy that goes into our cars. Obviously they have never owned something to this extent and instead steal of those who do.

All i can say is karma is a bitch, (no offence, i want u 2 get the car back perfect, but i doubt that will happen)

Maybe we'll see a white skyline wrapped around a pole leaving occupants with out their gental area or legs

Ive never seen it around, but if i do, ill be sure to pass it on

they may be stupid enough to steal it, but i doubt their stupid enough to drive it around

You really need to think about this mate, it has to be someone u know, or someone you know knows, your car is definately worth a bit of money in parts

I hope you get your car back mate. I'll keep an eye out in Sydney for parts matching that description - you never know how big their network may be.

Let us know how your dealings with Famous go. I certainly hope they pay up as I'm also covered by them.

    • This is a story of my life things, I learned eventually (thanks to someone calling me out) that my enthusiasm for discussing and sharing ideas that it came across as arrogance and I'm like... WTF?!    One thing I'm pretty sure I justifiably pride myself on is knowing that everyone will have things they can teach you, and you're always going to find out that something you think you know turns out wrong - you just don't know what it is until you get there.   Just the bursting enthusiasm that comes with ADHD when you hit something that gives you dopamine dumps can come across like you think everyone else is wrong or don't matter. But yeah, I'm a software engineer by trade and also do tuning in weekends and 100% have long had a reputation for  quickly making connections when resolving problems or forming solutions that I've sometimes had to take people form a long walk from start to end to explain how I ended up where I did when it's seemed "too simple" when I've stated my initial case, and had the "WTF" type reaction when they've realised how much was actually considered haha.   My reward is that I get all the curly problems thrown at me.
    • Wives never seem to find things funny. Especially when they're trying to sleep, and you've found the new funniest thing ever. I've never seen someone be able to get try and be cranky with me, while they're holding back fits of laughter... 😛   Also, I tell mine it's payback anyway. She has BiPolar. So the household can get quite emotionally wild at times 😛
    • I'm not up to date on the latest, but for basic modifications like pod filter, lower springs etc you can get a modification permit at the time of inspection.  For more serious modifications you will need engineering.  Intercoolers used to fall into the mod permit rule but its been a long while since i looked it up.   Either way you will be able to get it registered, just a case of $300 vs $3k .
    • Hi everyone! I’m the new owner of a 1996 R33 GTS-T, I’ve purchased this car over from Queensland and brought it to Western Australia and I’ve found that there is a hole cut out in the engine bay for the FMIC that enters into the wheel well (fender liners are in the boot). For anyone that has had to get their car over the PITS here, will this be a major issue?
    • Yeah I've spotted this one too, whenever it's lotto superdraw week and I'm browsing car sales dot com for my new ride They must be dreaming, maybe it's worth 150k for the link to Brock?
