Easy fellas dun make us delete the thread.

Can you provide any linkage to the supra shifters (hint: supraforums.com)?? Maybe then ppl can see what the function of the shifter is.

This is actually quite an amusing thread.

"I want a sequential shift coz its quick" don't want to use the clutch either. I want to be able to change gears really fast so I can drag race.

Why not fit an automatic transmission then ? Autos are for wankers that cannot drive properly. But I am prepared to spend really BIG dollars to have a manual box that shifts like an auto.

Hehehe, its a strange world isn't it.

lol manual H pattern car - manual gear shift - clutch = auto with 5 gears...

the guy does have a point.

I've heard a few mates who adjust their gear ratios on their auto's to get better times on the drags than most manuals. But their transmission gives em a powerloss and weight disadvantage.

If you have a non AWD R32 and wanna improve your shifting fit a GTR or GTS4 shifter in it, its around the same size (so Its not shorter) but the throw is much smaller. Cost = $50.

Usuckpoo (interesting call) you are just not seeing this are you?  If you actually read the text on my posts, you might understand what I am saying??  Seems like Ureallydosuckpoo as you are making a bit of a dick of yourself.

I'm not going to be the source of your cheap entertainment.  I have more important things to do.

This post was a simple espression of interest, nothing more.

For the record, I own 4 companies and don't suffer fools well.  So as a matter of fact, I DO have a real GTR V-Spec, so don't patronise me.

Now,  for everyone else who's had something useful to say (that is every contributor to the post except Mr Poo), thank you for your honest points of view and thoughts.  I do greatly appreciate your time experience.

My question posed to you was not a rhetorical one meant to insult you, rather an entirely valid one imho

You seem to paint the impression in your previous posts that your interest in the shifter was not for its fucntional properties but more for its novelty and that similar peer or public interest in the shifter was a driving consideration. Further you choose to cite the analogy of "who really needs a skyline when all of us can drive corrollas" I just asked if these were the compelling factors that led to the choice of your vehicle, since they seem evident in your interest in the shifter.

That said, please do not huddle insults at me.

Why the need to mention that you own 4 companies and such? Does that make you more of a person than the rest of us? Does tat render me a fool because i do not own such assets?

Cheers
