Things To Do In Sydney?

I've lived in Sydney for 15 years and still haven't been to Taronga Zoo. Something about animals in captivity just doesn't do it for me..

how did you like taronga zoo? i love that place. it's so under-rated.

Well the Sky Safari was a great way to start the day as it took us up from the bottom of the mountain to the top. We went over the elephant enclosure where we noticed the two baby elephants!

The rest of the day way pretty cool, the bird-show was particularly impressive, as were the views towards the city. The land that the zoo is situated on must be worth a bloody mint!

We got lost quite a few times but that is to be expected with quite a large zoo (same thing happens to me at Melbourne's zoo).

Whether Melbourne's is better than Taronga is a topic for another day

Wow, I did not know there were Zoo fanboys out there.

I visited the Beijing zoo a few years ago, and it makes Toronga look like an African savanna.
