mattis96
i just took my 6.5 kicker splits out of the front and put them into the back spacers, no modding needed. replaced the fronts with better splits but same size and had to trim the speaker pods a lil bit. like a 5 min job for both... Carbon 34
No one knows if they can be mounted like the above link? yes they can, but it requires a lot more work to do it neat (dont butcher the door panel) and sound good(good seal to the door skin). ILNSkylineR33s
Thanks for that guys, One last question (well I think it's the last anyway ) as I'm not very good with car audio stuff would just like to know if I put Kicker KS600's in front and rear (or maybe the 6x9 version in rear) would I need an amp? Also how do you work out what power amp you would need to provide sufficient power to the speakers? Sorry for all the questions, Tristan. J_R33
i would get an amp on to those KS600s as they are about 65RMS and your headunit only puts out about 12rms lol. waayyy underpowered. a perfect amp for those would be a kicker ZX350.4 which is 4 x 60rms and is perfect to run the KS series speakers. have u already got the 600s? as i would get the KS602's which are the same but in a split and go the KS600s for the rear as they are a 2-way.
