Hi all

This is my first post so bare with me.

I have just finished fabbing up an rb25de n/a manifold to suit gtr ITP's (off an r32 gtr). the modification of the manifold was relatively easy (for the purpose of running it with NOS) as was the other associated mods , a bit tight though , but now I'm faced with another problem which I'm sure with some input from you guys I can rectify. I have elected to keep the origonal engine loom which means that the wiring of TPS will be different , what I need to know is what colour wires go where , the TPS off the gtr is different to the 25de but since its only wiring this should not matter once the cofiguration is correct.

Any help would be much appreciated .

Cheers Pembo

    • Assuming that they will come off without damage at all.... i would have thought just pull straight up off the spindle with a something or other than can reach underneath. Have you searched for youtube vids of people doing similar on R34s or any other Nissan from the same vintage? They should be the same technique, in all likelihhood.
    • Keeping in mind that sandblasting is really aggressive on softer metals like cast alloy, and you can do damage that you might regret. For trash wheels, not a problem. For wheels with value/scarcity issues, etc.... perhaps a less aggressive media is a better choice?
    • Don't get all high and mighty. Experienced spanner wielders know exactly what effort is required to release an Oof.
    • 2 weeks ago $240 cash. 200-300 per wheel is wild for sandblasting and can't see a wheel costing more then $100 per wheel to powder coat.
    • Yeah this confirms what I was thinking. Volks are worth a crap load more than my M Sport 17s and 2500 is nuts!  240 is crazy cheap, was this 20 years ago? I have a fairly good air compressor so I'm tempted to get an eBay sand blaster.
