Congrats on the purchase.

for those wanting to know, the 2011 GTR is still a ways off but will have 15-30hp more, revised aero for more downforce, revised front bar, revised rear diffuser, tweaked suspension. There will be (in Japan at least) another trim level above Premium with many options available such as the ability to option interior colours (not just black or white) and even option on parts from the SpecV range. It will not be called the SpecM as previously thought it has not been given a name yet.

The SpecV goes away next year as it becomes obsolete with all the changes in the base GT-R, and it's possible that the base 2011 GT-R will gain the power upgrade by making the 2010 SpecV turbos standard across the range.

No but I still wouldnt buy that. 1. cant drive that knowing it 'aint a f430

                                            2. Its over 10 years old

                                            3. service costs and parts and insurance!

But still...its a 'ferrari pal!'  haha

Well... I bought the car. I pick it up in about 3 weeks. Excited but also nervous.

you will love it mate. basically any car that costs more than a corolla is a waste of money as a corolla gets you from a-b in safety and comfort affordably. but the thing is cars aren't about money. like I said anything above a corolla is basically an emotional choice. so whether is a $50K monaro or a $400K 911 Turbo we do it because whatever the car is hits a button in us somewhere. enjoy it. :D

it's your money mate, only you can justify the purchase

im in similar situation with the gf etc

as long as i have my houses under control, i dont mind making such a big purchase

go for it, and enjoy it, it's a great car.... constantly scraping the long front overhang excluded natch

im in melb, shoot me a pm when you pick the car up, my mates and i are always organising drives up to kinglake, toolangi, mt donna buang etc

hay mate do u know a guy named jordan, drives a bmw coupe?

Just picked up a white one last Monday. Now for the gruelling 2000k run in!

that run in period should be just about enough time to order and receive a COBB access port and midpipe if you get on and order one now. ;)

Would love to get those things but to find an installer and tuner in victoria?  :)
