Tyre Selection Help

Hey guys I got a R31 and am in the process of putting 15x8 0 offset xxr 002 rims on it, I went to some tyre places and they all said theyd put 245-255/50/15's on them or around that size, they will be massive wont they? ive also got king spring lows to put in aswell when the new wheels go on. I was thinking a 215/60 or around that, will tyre places do it or is 'not legal'.

255 is like 10 inches isn't it?

If you wanted the tyre to be flush with the lip of the rim a 215 maybe 225.

yeh idk why they wanted to put such a wide tyre on, was just making sure I was getting numbers right haha, thanks
