Hi All,

I have a 2004-05 V35 coupe. I am coming across this problem where the insides of my front tyres are wearing out very fast. I have taken it to various places to see if something can be done to fix this problem, but have had no luck.

I also have this ongoing noise coming from the passenger side front tyre it sounds as if it is hitting something not sure how to fix it. It tends to go louder once I pick up speed.

Anyone else having these issues? Or does anyone know how to fix these problems?

Any advice will be appreciated.

i thought I would ask, it's a common 'mod' that people (or previous owner in japan) fit some 350Z springs that basically lowers the car without looking too low but could possibly increase the negative camber angle enough to wear the tyre on the inside too quickly.

any good suspension specialist can check your camber. if the car is 100% stock then probably not much can be done in terms of adjustments but it could be that it is a bit off. no idea where you are so you'll have to try your yellowpages to find a good suspension specialist around your area.

Thanks for the advice, I'm in sydney mate..have you ever experienced this problem before?

are u running factory or aftermarket wheels?

have you had anyone look at the lower ball joints.

They could be the cause of both the noise and tyre wear.

I would also check out all control arm bushes, shocks etc

Thanks for all the advice guys, I have standard 18 inch wheels , checked the ball joints it's fine, the springs haven't been lowered either. Going to take it to pedders to have everything checked out, hopefully it's not a major problem.
