Damn, I would have paid to see those two retards collide haha (if thats what really happend ofcourse).

Edit: reading that article again i actually realise how vague and misleading it is....... you shouldnt get so angry over an article as you obviously linked the word hoons to performance cars (someone on here) when article doesnt even say what cars they were, just "high powered" lol.

1) assholes doing burnouts in a carpark.

2) f**king terrible 'journalism'. more trash media, great.

if youre reading this, f**k you whoever did this, i hope you get charged with wreckless like you should, and end up never getting a decent job ever again.

Antilag thread has all the answers about this topic.

Amusing to see people get soo fired up over such a misleading article.

We get fired up over it because the rest of us suffer the wrath of the police because of such a few dickheads

So annoying. Oh well, it's a pain in the ass but I'm pretty sure everyone here was aware of the bad rap high performance cars get from the media and the police before you bought your car, it's not like it's anything new. Don't drive like an idiot and you won't draw attention to yourself, simple as that.

haha thanks for the link martin, i havent laughed at a report like that in a while.

I especially like the bit where she says "Drivers are warned not to go on the freeway, to avoid police". Lol wtf, you can clearly see in that map that it just says "Follow Sutherland Street left till Trode Street (Do not go on Freeway)". It never says anything about police, how can that f**king reporter claim that it is to avoid police? My first assumption would be so that you don't get lost lol.

Absolute mole. It also pissed me off when she said "I have been told that they meet here every weekend to compare cars and do burnouts". Yeh well i've been told that the length of 1km is greater than that of 1 mile, that doesn't make it f**king true. How about you do some research before you make a claim like that!?

yes i know, i know, but i just laugh because its too funny hahahaha, especially when she goes, oh and we found a map oh my... i had a good lol at her conception on us "hoons"

we are clearly terrorists that need to be hunted down! a map is just one step closer to debunking our ways!!!1

I have seen much the same at almost every cruise ive been on, We cant blame the media, We must blame the countless Dickheads that make it tough on all of use.

Ditto

You know the best way to stop the media making useless reports...?

Stop giving them something to make the useless report on.

I do agree. But ignorance annoys the shit out of me. And that reporter (all reporters) had it in bucket loads :D

Snozzle that's pretty much how it is lol, clearly everyone that drives a high powered car is a terrorist and a threat to national safety and security :(

i saw this yesterday and at first i was angry then i saw the video and then i :( then i when to SAU to look for a thread about this with a epic amount of reply's but there was nothing here *shocked. im disappointed in everybody on SAU were is ur anger towards the media and police :D

hay that looked like a pretty good cruise map. i might go down to ch7 to get a copy

    • Hi all, Long time since I've posted here. Looking for some advice on what I can remove to further identify the cause of my issues.  I can move the passenger seat forward and back but the knob used to adjust the seat angle is pretty much free spinning, there's very little resistance.  Removing the side cover I can see that the chain is intact but the shaft for the adjustment spins without the gear attached to it moving.  What's my next step for disassembly here? Is this a common fault? Just being a little cautious as I didn't want to start removing bolts for a spring to fly out or something equally as stupid.  Cheers
    • Those above shitboxes, mediocre and above usually have a turbo strapped to them, hence the slightly higher octane is required.
    • Hi all,   long time listener, first time caller   i was wondering if anyone can help me identify a transistor on the climate control unit board that decided to fry itself   I've circled it in the attached photo   any help would be appreciated
    • I mean, I got two VASS engineers to refuse to cert my own coilovers stating those very laws. Appendix B makes it pretty clear what it considers 'Variable Suspension' to be. In my lived experience they can't certify something that isn't actually in the list as something that requires certification. In the VASS engineering checklist they have to complete (LS3/NCOP11) and sign on there is nothing there. All the references inside NCOP11 state that if it's variable by the driver that height needs to maintain 100mm while the car is in motion. It states the car is lowered lowering blocks and other types of things are acceptable. Dialling out a shock is about as 'user adjustable' as changing any other suspension component lol. I wanted to have it signed off to dissuade HWP and RWC testers to state the suspension is legal to avoid having this discussion with them. The real problem is that Police and RWC/Pink/Blue slip people will say it needs engineering, and the engineers will state it doesn't need engineering. It is hugely irritating when aforementioned people get all "i know the rules mate feck off" when they don't, and the actual engineers are pleasant as all hell and do know the rules. Cars failing RWC for things that aren't listed in the RWC requirements is another thing here entirely!
    • I don't. I mean, mine's not a GTR, but it is a 32 with a lot of GTR stuff on it. But regardless, I typically buy from local suppliers. Getting stuff from Japan is seldom worth the pain. Buying from RHDJapan usually ends up in the final total of your basket being about double what you thought it would be, after all the bullshit fees and such are added on.
