Throttle Body

Any tricks i should know about throttle body while i have it off the car, will cleaning it out make any difference..Anything i should lube up etc?

Also where the plug plugs into it there is another socket but as far as i know nothing to plug into it, is this for an option i dont have maybe?

Ive seen people bore out the cylinder too, only a few mill, is this worth the effort

Give it a clean to get rid of all the oil/grime build up, thats about it really.
