hi guys,

anyone heard about the "standard" suspension?

i don't mean the standard suspension which the car orginally has, but a brand called "standard".

i think it's a new brand, not so many people know about it.

A few years ago I wanted some coilovers for the s13 on a budget and I had the choice between a set of HSD or a set of STD coilovers, I ended up going with the HSD's partially because I didn't want to say I had just got some "STD's" ...

Is it really that shit?

One of my frd had one on his r33. only cost him $1300 including install.

He said it's pretty good for that price.

I sat in his car once, and yeah that it's better than my orginal one, but still not as good as I think coilovers should be.

He said becoz his ones is the r1 model, if I get the better model it'll be much better and won't be too expensive as those famious brand. He said it's more competable.

Is it real? Or any one has a better suggestion? Budgeted around $1500.

Cheers

std's bit was a joke mate.

ok. I see.

Any one has a idea that which suspension should I buy for my 34 gtt?

Budgeted around $1500.

I can't stand on my orginal suspension any more, it slant a lot when I make a turn

Go set of HSDs

i used to think so, but when i went to the mechanic he suggest me to get some new suspension first...

Swaybars will make more of a difference to body roll than a set of coilovers.

And here's a tip, don't listen to what mechanics tell you about suspension, get it from the horses mouth (Brad@WAsuspenders).
