Hi Guys,

About 6 months ago I replaced the timing belt on my RB26. Unfortunately I mis-read the procedure and overtightened the belt slightly. It makes a slight wirring noise at low revs. I can't remember if I can access the timing belt tensioner by just removing the top timing belt cover or if I need to remove the bottom cover (and harmonic balancer) to access it. Just trying to plan when to do it (I'm not home very often).

Thanks,

Simon

I believe you will need to remove the lower cover to access it. You can see it with the top cover off but can't actually get to it.
