Hi all,

I have searched on this and Im sure its here I must just be blind?? wondering if someone has a link they can send me to a thread that im sure exists or tll me what the thread is called.

Basically I want to know if you can DIY check ECU fault codes on an R33 GTS-T series 2?

I made up a lflashing led for my old XR8 which you plugged into the diagnostic port and referenced the flashes against the manual to give the fault codes.

I would like to know if there is a similar process in the 33 and how it can be done or at least if there is a thread about this.

thanks!

That's how you do it on a RB20DET...

It's the same on an RB25DET except there is two lights.

The first light is the first digit the second light is the second digit.

ie. Light 1 (Blink = 1) Light 2 )Blink, Blink +2). So therefore you have 12 which is AFM.

the slightly more expensive way, but it is much easier to check the codes, as well as other things is with a consult cable. google ecutalk or contact newkleer on here. will set you back about $70 but it is simple and you can use the software to monitor things like o2 sensor, afm voltage, etc anytime you are having an issue. i have one and i love it. rarely use it but when i do it makes life much easier.
