What R33 Gtr Front Bar Is This?!

hey guys, just got a quick question for any1 that might know..

What front bar is this? is that a factory option?, after market? or standard?, I've noticed its on a s3 GTR BUT I've been looking around and havn't came across a s3 gtr with that front bar.

any ideas?

My guess is, it is the Nismo front bar. (Not to get confused with the Nismo 400R front bar).

Has the intercooler vents, what looks to be larger vents to feed air to the brakes / calipers / rotors on the front lip.

2 vents next to the indicators and vents on the side.

its a standard bar, series 3 lip, the car pictured probably has the nismo oil cooler kit. comes with the vents from what i remember (pretty expensive)

Yeah its a factory S3 bar with the optional cooler kit fitted.

Its one of the Series 3 options. i have a genuine series 3, 1998, but mine does not have this extra vent. however i have another genuine series 3 1997 end i believe that does have this so to my understanding it was an option. they rare as allready stated.

The air vent's were just an optional factory extra i believe, there are some R33 GT-R's for sale on carsales.com with and without the vents. not sure if they are anything special though.

Powerplay imports in sydney have East Bear GT-R replica bumpers like pictured, with/without the air vents if that helps.

they were are bout $1600 when i bought one a couple of years ago for my R33 when i had it.
