hey guys just in the process of putting together some custom shock/spring combos and wanted to know the standard typical 10yr old r34 skylines had in terms of spring rates.

Sydneykid who is a well informed being when it comes to suspension has recommended ideally 2.5kg/mm but no more then 3kg/mm spring rates in the rear if possible.

just trying to see if this would be TOO soft for the once a month trip to the milkbar for some maxibons **nom nom nom** :glare:

cheers

I'd like to know this too, anyone? For R34 GTT specifically.

I just got some King Springs that apparently have the following rates:

- Front: KDFL-101 X: 205 lbs per inch

- Rear: KDRL-61: 175 lbs per inch

I'd like to compare these to stock rates before putting them on the car (R34 GTT sedan).

Thanks

In metric these are:

- Front: KDFL-101 X: 205 lbs per inch = 3.66 kg/mm

- Rear: KDRL-61: 175 lbs per inch = 3.13 kg/mm

Still haven't found rates for the OEM springs.

Ok, I'm on this issue also.

I have a GTT and I want to figure out a good spring rate for grip racing. I thought any decent "FOR TRACK" R34 GTR coilovers would be fine but the GTT has slightly different requirements that I've found.
