Hi, A very helpful soul did this to our 35 today. Right hand rear quarter.

Very pleased :P

At least he left his business card and seems interested in paying for the fix.post-2524-1276606928_thumb.jpg

Ya'know...two posts up is right whether they were serious or joking ?!? Lol couldn't tell.

Anyways, alot of that would actually buff out..and i don't see any panel/bar deformation otherwise a good respray plus blending in won't be much anyways...the shop i goto would charge about $500-600 to do it for me.

Good thing on them leaving their details. I had someone bump park my first car ages ago and no details.. had to pay $400 myself to fix it.

It's now an insurance job. The guy rang last night.

He had his car quoted at the same place as ours and the manager told him how bad ours was.

Could be up to $3K if they replace the rim as well. Going to have it spun up at the local tyre place next week to see if the rim is buckled.

Panel has been pushed in a fair bit.

Just what I needed :P Not!

Had some pr*ck dent my car in secure parking. Left nothing. Went to work in the morning and car is fine. Come back from a shitty day at work and saw it.

I was a road rage machine that arvo.

still havent had it professionally looked at cause with the new job i constantly need my car.

I also got keyed across 3 panels at a shopping centre.

No contact info for either and no CCTV that they would allow me to view. Damn secure parking!

    • Do a degree in mechanical engineering specializing in combustion systems and materials. Learn how to actually wrench on things that don't require 70k+ USD buy-in while you're at it. You also want to learn to weld and machine. If you still want to do this then you'll nominally have the knowledge to actually do what you're thinking of doing. Whether you still want to do any of that once you've actually gone through that process is anybody's guess. Personally I cannot imagine anything more frustrating than trying to package a supercharger under the hood of any of these cars when the turbos are already fighting for every last inch.
    • That's a function of the fuel pressure reg, not the pump. The pump can do more, needs to be able to do more. The reg keeps the pressure in the rail constant above whatever the manifold pressure is.
    • You need enough post count to have PMs enabled. It will come. They are not the same. The NA box is the skinny little box and the turbo box is the big heavy one, and the yokes are not interchangeable.
    • So, you're not talking about rebuilding the dampers, just putting new tops on them? You just need new tops and a spanner.
    • Hi All, Does anyone know how or who (shop) could rebuild my original R32 GTR Nismo struts? These are the OG logo ones that were a factory option back in the day. I've replaced them with aftermarket coilovers which are good, but the OG Nizmo struts tha i bought the car with i feel are amazing, just the rubber tops are worn and would need replacing... Plus it would make it 100 time easier for me to get the GTR fully engineered without adjustable coilovers... I was considering selling the OG suspension, but if i can get them rebuild / refurbished, I would seariously put them back on. Cheers, Tom   p.s. I'm in Sydney by the way and don't mind travelling if need be to get these puppies rebuilt.
