Yeah they have it so easy in Russia. Mmmmm avg income like 1/4 of australias. Snow for at least half the year. High unemployment and absolutely nutty crime levels. Those really shitty pre-fab apartments. I could go on....

If you want to live somewhere where the cars rule and its fuggin cold....go to sweden!

PS. sorry russian guy, but it had to be said :)

It is strange, that you have not recollected about bears and vodka - it is usual too mention... People which judge our country on on propagation of times of cold war, strongly are mistaken... Your representation about our country is incorrect. It is just necessary will return to a reality...

english is  OK  :)  .. i understood a bit of it  :D  .. at least in russia you wouldn't have to buy an intercooler at all LOL  :(

Guys - return to a reality... Russia - the huge country... In the north there live polar bears, and in the south - subtropics... And there even it is now very warm... In Moscow it is now cold-10 on Celsius. Fries up to +40 in the summer. Front intercollers we actively use... GReddy, HKS, A'PEXi

Thats y i moved to AUS :D Russia isnt a bad country its the government that made it this way :)

The standard of living of the population for last 10 years has considerably grown. The government constantly carries out reforms. The last we it is not so enough, when have entered a surtax on import automobiles.

How do skylines handle russian roads, snow, cold weather? i miss snow sooo much, still cant get used to celebrating new years without snow....

Skyline perfectly itself feels in our conditions... But we try to not go in the winter on GTR... And new year without a snow - is not present New Year's mood... At least for us... Roads from a snow at us actively clean at night... It watch...

damn right it's cold............i'm posting this from Prague, Check Republic, which borders Russia (i think) it's about -13 outside..........farking cold........

do you guys in Russia drive on the left? cause the people here drive on the right, it's an arse cause i keep looking the wrong way when i'm crossing roads.....

Russian guy, I wasn't trying to say your country is a living hell. I'm sure there are things that are good over there, but theres still a lot of trouble from the reforms after the cold war.

My family is from poland and I still have family living over there, ok it's not russia but its sort of similar, and there are some serious problems compared to the west.

I would still LOVE to visit russia though, I've always wanted to go there and see what its like for myself instead of listening to relative's stories of it :(

    • Hi all   what short shifter do you use on your skykine r34?   my synchronous does have a problem and i was getting huge delay and grinding sound between 2nd and 3rd, did put shockproof red heavy stuff and it is great now/ no issues   would in your view short shifter screw this up?   people seems to suggest/ use cube short shifter and there is standard and premium. Seen review of premium as much better and less play. Thoughts?
    • Yeah, there's a bit of a density and friability difference between pebbles and any of those other things. Silicone will definitely float in oil and so will be mobile enough to move around. Although, again, if it is upstream of the filter it really shouldn't go any further. I would only ever worry about silicone when it is in places downstream of the filter. Upstream of the pickup is a whole 'nother matter. We've all seen what that does. I have seen the most abominable crap settled out in industrial gearboxes, trunnion lube systems and the like, without any sign that any of it has touched anything in the machine. Just chilling in the bottom, waiting for the inevitable operator error that causes the whole machine to need to be dismantled for repairs.
    • I have seen enough fire and brimstone from TSBs about roloc disks causing spun bearings that foreign object contamination is top of mind for me. For sufficiently large particles you might be right but usually it’s a distribution of debris and some of the larger particles can also break down and shed bits. If local shops report RTV contamination in a turbo is enough to wreck them I’m taking zero chances if I can help it.
