Getting The Most Out Of My R33 Airbox

Hi folks, I have an R33 GTS-T which came with a hot air induction pod filter.

I bought a std airbox and snorkle and reistalled it. Put in a high flow panel filter and made a scoop which sits behind the grill and directs air up to the snorkel

Overall Im very happy. I was looking at a pic of an R34 GT-T engine bay and noticed the intake snorkle looks wider? Is this true or am I seeing things? if it is will it fit under the R33 bonnet without hitting anything? Might be a good way to extract a little more out of the stock airbox?

Also are the intercooler pipes the same on both the R33 and R34?

Stock snorkel will be fine . R34 smic easy swap - pipes will fit. Make sure you adapt the shroud for best results.
