Rb25 Neo Airbox Snorkel Clip Things

Hey guys,

Really sorry if this has been posted before....but I don't even know what they are called. With the standard air snorkel on the stageas/RB25 engines I went to take it off today and those plastic clip things popped out. I didn't realise that there was a special way to take them off. So when I went to clip them back in they don't clip in properly

First of all what are they called and where can I buy some more from?

Hey mate, I did the exact same thing with my R34 snorkel. Go to Autobarn or SuperCheap and get a:

Champion Panel Pack - 2 Scrivet Clips - 8mm hole - P/N PP68

The ones I got can be opened & closed using a standard phillips head screwdriver.

You may want to measure the hole just be on the safe side - I got some 6mm ones too, just in case.

At around $5 a pack they're a rip-off for bits of plastic but what can you do...

Well, I've had to pull off the snorkel like five times since putting the scrivets in, a lot less painful than replacing cable ties every time.

Otherwise I'm sure they'd work just as well

i used cable ties, had them a little loose, so i could just flip it over the headlight

can be pretty toight and still do this...

thanks for the fast replies. I'm such a noob I didn't think to use cable ties. Will look into those scrivet clips though
