the reason why they're legal on high end vehicles, e.g. Audi R8 is because they've been properly engineered and researched thoroughly when the designers design the vehicle.

problem with aftermarket Varex muffler is unless it's been proven that it won't cause undue carbon pollution any higher than stock exhaust, as well as noise, they can't view it as legal...

Rianto. I would understand it if the ferrari, R8, etc stayed under the legal noise limit when on full pelt... which they might, but it sure as hell doesnt sound like it??

even if they're not ferrari owners can afford the epa fine, even if it's the $10,000 environmental fine, it's peanut money for them.

its the WHOLE accelerator pedal.

you cannot replace the faulty bit on the top as it is calibrated to that pedal assy.

regarding the exhaust. you live in VIC. go to geelong and borrow Ford's testing facility for a bit. have $7-10K handy for the right to use it

finally got the EPA done with everything back to stock.

and the result....82(83)dB...wasnt expecting the stock pipes goes so close to the edge of 90dB
