Ok cool. Thanks guys, will try and also report.

Yes, but HOWEVER as you mentioned in the earlier posts, weight is a big issue AS WELL AS gear ratios. I doubt a small car ratio is enough to transform these Fords and Holdens into drag machines considering they weigh roughly 1700kg tare.

A VN commodore or EA Falcon would both come at or under 1400kg and both have 120-130kw probably 130-140kw with exhaust and a CAI. So gearing them up as drag machines would work well for the 0-100 sprint. As far as them being good quarter mile warriors, I dont think so, with those sorts of gear ratios one would imagine they would be topping out quite early.

as was said by franga, the brand new ones may weight that much but not the older ones, but the newer ones are also a lot more powerful than the old ones. a bit of work done to a BA xr6 (non turbo) will get it to run low 14's or high 13's.

the older falcons and commodores were down as low as about 1300kg, which is about the same weight as a skyline

well before i bought my R33 i had a 96 EF falcon with all the bolt-ons, mild cam and manual, and rolling start it was line ball to my stock R33 turbo. It had the power to do a mid 14, so without turbo no chance.

Yeah but this is bone stock (with downgrade of hot air intake). problems seem to only persist when cold, it used to be when warm as well. Keeps stuttering and power is on and off throughout the rev range. Idle keeps dropping up and down when cold.

Other than that crap, car is feeling pretty good for now. Still just a bit weak. Does anybody know if the part numbers of the fuel pump are different for the R32 GTS-T and R33 GTS25 S2? Thanks.
