Iam looking to tidy up my engine bay and get rid of the plastic radiator overflow bottle and window washer bottle. My battery is in the boot so I would like to put the tank there.

I have seen the RIPS onesin NZ, but can anyone point me in the direction of buying something similar to this pic below in Australia but better quality than the just jap ones, and something with a filter setup on the catch-can so its able to breath? Possibly with the two or three tanks all in one polished unit?

I did do a search and saw some nice setups but cant find any decent ones currently advetised in Australia. Any help or pics of your current setup are much appreciated.

You just need to ask a few welders/fabricators to find one who does motorsport applications. There was a guy advertising custom surge tanks on ebay there is bound to be someone in your city.

e.g. in NZ we have RIPS http://www.ripsltd.com/

or Sinco Customs http://www.sincocustoms.co.nz/

among others

Agreed. Anyone should be able to do it.

The quality of the RIPS ones are next to none. But yeah, you really pay for it.

Any design, shape and baffling etc you want.

Just not the overflow bottle..

I got it 2nd hand, but brand new you wont get any change out of $600+NZD.

Id never buy one brand new personally. I think you could get the same effect from a local metalworks place far cheaper. Just draw it with dimensions and away you go.

Also just make sure the internal baffles are done right as sometimes the cheaper ones are just an open can and pretty useless for proper oil control.

Have a look at the oil control thread as there is a lot of good information there.
