Highest boost on stock turbo?

Just to add a little more.

My R33 S2 turbo let go yesterday.

I have a FMIC, Wolf ECU, and running 11 psi boost.

I drive it very moderately and 2 sprints per year.

It let go on the first drive of the day.

I ran 12psi on my stock turbo with the trust intercooler for a year and had no problems, when i upgraded i pulled it off and sold it 2nd hand and as far as i know its still going strong on a r32.

yep a r33 gtst. these cars are great, reliable, love a thrashing.

but people go and double the factory power output, and have problems.....hmmm not really a surprise is there?

skylines are great form the factory, plenty quick enough for road and light track duty.....my car was quicker than 90% of the cars at any given track day.....

just my 2c, but I think sometimes people get too caught up spending money and end up wiht heart (and wallet) ache
