Well my R33 had the Microtech Mt8. I have it running at 320rwkw currently. Only problem i had with it was Idling (apparently i needed a tps switch) and my computer would lose rev signal. Other then that the car ran perfectly.

I have them same problem with my R33. What is a tps switch ? did you install yourself?

The way i look at it is: 1650 for a new pfc, then 500 for  hand controler,

its more like... PC + H/C is $1100-$1200

they now sell as a package and are much cheaper than what they used to be.

So you can re evaluate things a little more i guess

unless you need an AP PFC... they are higher in price

Would have came in handy trying to track down my AFM drop outs.

Thats why you buy a Dash Logger. Even an entry level one like mine comes in handy...just have to wire it up again after my last loom was damaged

We have Datalogit for RB20, RB25, RB26 and SR20. Good stuff, it adds lap top tuning and releases a few tables and maps that are hidden when using the Commander. Plus it logs data as well of course, we use a couple of extra channels from sources other than the Power FC (water pressure and oil pressure)

SK, what ignition set up do you reccomend with a PFC on a GTR aiming for well over 500rwhp? Would you also recommend using the MAP version or retain the AFM's?

Standard ignition system and AFM's (a pair of RB20/25's will do fine).
