Hey guys

My r33 gts was recently stolen and thankfully was found by the police, no major damage but they apparently busted up the ignition cylinder/barrel(don't know the correct name). I haven't had a chance to look at the car yet because the police are doing finger printing and what not.

My Questions are that if im up for a new cylinder/barrel, i have a chance of getting a new one. Problem is, its off an r31. Can i still use it or would i need to get a r33 one.? Also if its till there, are they easy to fix?

Seeing as i haven't seen the damage myself I don't know the actual damage, but im going to be going back home soon with the car and have limited time to get this fixed so i'm trying to get a head start in case i need to pop around to some wreckers or shops. The guy at the wreckers did say he got it started with a screwdriver so if that means anything to you guys in relation to this problem please inform me.

Thankyou very much

Mitch.

This is obviously a very common problem. Today my R34 GTT got broken into and it was only for the immobiliser that it wasn't stolen. I now need to replace my ignition barrel because of the damage.

Any ideas on whether a 33 or 32 ignition barrels fit will fit a R34 GTT? Any advice on where to buy one would be appreciated.
