Cold Air Intake On V36

Hi Everyone,

Looking at getting Cold Air intake done on the V36, what have people used and recommend?

How hard is doing the install yourself? feedback would be much appreciated and where did you buy the product from?

i used a stillen one with a stillen z-tube.. on my 35 and it took about 30 or 40minutes to do.. was easier than washing the car

From what i have read in a few places, the short ram air kits do nothing / actually lose you horsepower.

the stillen gen 3 long tube is the only one to go for, that said for $600 landed it's an expensive 15hp.

If you YouTube G37 air intakes there is a heap of info, fitting instruction etc. Igen also do a good kit.

I have fitted the Nismo US spec cold air intake on my 35.

It sits the pod just neatly behind the front bar and has a special fitting on it that is supposed to stop water ingestion, haven't had a problem so far this winter.
