I take it you are referring to driving the Daewoo not the Skyline...

Not speeding again in a Daewoo is a fair enough punishment.

I also had that happen to me. I got written up with one of those hand written tickets and I didn't bother paying.

The blue reminder notice never came.

I've had it where they sent one notice and they never sent any further. I asked them to look up my record and there wasn't any note than anything was issued.

If they send 2, 3 or more notices well then obviously mean business.

Has anyone heard of the 200 meter rule either side of a speed sign change.

eg. If u are within 200m of an 80 zone and doing 80 in a 60 zone then u will not get booked and visa versa from a 80 to a 60 zone u can be doing 80 for 200m into the 60 zone.

Hope u can make sense of this.

I think its true as I have tested it many times and just yesterday a cop was going the opposite way to me while I was in the 60 zone doing bout 75 only about 100m from the 80 zone.

Wrong rego written = :)

When i forgot my money for the M2 toll they wrote the wrong rego on the ticket ($3.80) which had to be paid within 3 days. WooHoo saved nearly $4! But someone who probably lived 500km's away was going to get a debt recovery notice. So after countless hr's of thought and deliberation i decided to pay :(

Sure wasn't easy... $3.80 = 12 minutes of work....

Damo i'm with you on that one.

Although i've seen the PoPo's radaring on the freeway when it goes from 110 to 80 directly behind the sign. I think you'd only have a 50/50 chance in court of getting off though.

They say the law is not BLACK & WHITE . Sure isn't for the cops i see fanging around the place!

In NSW the SOPS (cops Standard operating procedure) is that the no longer radar within 200m of a change of speed sign (except school zones) or on a downhill section.

This is only the case if you are doing say 80 in a 60 zone with in 200m of the speed change.....but if you are doing 100, you WILL be booked.
