its funny how they say its not my fault see the contractor.....go to the contractor and he says its not his fault see the council.....they just make your run around in circles to avoid paying you compensation for the damage caused.....if there are massive pot holes then either that lane should be closed till its fixed or the contractors have to fill it with something so that its not so bad on the cars

yeah they have there arse's covered tighter than a fishers arse lol if someone hit this on a motor bike it would throw them off the bike the council will end up up with blood on it;s hands one day

Deano, if that did happen with a bike and as a result someone was injured, they can throw their policies in the bin cause they'll all be running for cover!!

I had a situation in the Elizabeth City Centre carpark where I parked against one of those concrete front tyre stops. They have 2 lengths of rio rod that they nail the things in place with but one of the rods had dislodged and was sticking up a few inches, just enough for my work car's front plastic bumper to hook on. When I reversed, it ripped the front bar off.

This what I sent them with a massive bill and the buggers paid it, lol

who payed for that tho sled ? playford council or the shopping center management im not getting too much joy from the council lol

cant seem too open it bloody windows 7 im having a crap day so far lol

Edited by mid life crisis

Council never pay....you should know that by now, lol.

It was the Centre that paid but like I said, if someone gets injured, get a lawyer and go the council.........they WILL lose!

Try hitting "SAVE" rather than "OPEN" Deano

I had an accident because I hit a really big pot hole on the round-a-bout on whites/burton rd years ago in my vs clubby, I bent the Z bar and the K frame, went and got quotes and sent a letter simalar to Petes, The Council would not pay and I had to pay for the damage and still to this day the pot hole isnt fixed . I couldnt afford to get a lawyer and was going through seperation.

i have just moved down from bissy and never in my life have i seen so many ENWS man holes. i drive down marion road to go to work and its shocking. but i think S.A wastes money on things this state doesnt need for instant the revamping of the football oval or cricket ground which ever one it is. how bout a new high way that goes both ways its the only place in the world that has a one way express way.

well thats my say.

throw a pipe bomb on it and then they'll have to fix it :D and maybe a section of the road haha

Hit that exact pothole in my 32 a few weeks back

Curtis Road up near Heaslip Road is getting pretty trashy too

Why would you move from Brisbane to here! yeegads!!

Dean i saw that pothole on the way home tonight and all i can is YIKES!!

Even the numerous CST road crossings they've done on Curtis Rd are shite! A heavy traffic road+shite rubble+lack of compaction, nearly hit one in the GTR that would have been close on 200mm below the road surface. Boof and Dion would know the ones im talking of.

I just like the overpass and roundabout bits they put in there ... especially when I go see Ben and Nene on the motorbike :D

If the dopes are giving you the runaround, I'd place a small advert asking if anyone has succeeded in suing the council or other, over 'Pothole Damage' > pursue the same course. I wonder if you get more than 1x reply! :D

i drive down peachey road everyday to go to work - they filled the pothole you mentioned just last week? i think...not that hard to just avoid them - but then again, i do know the road lol. Mate that really sucks about ur wheels, its sh*t when people don't want to do anything for you.

Im from adel originally but lived in NSW for a couple of years, and started owning an import over there...I move back to SA this year and -holy sh*t, i feel like taking my coilovers off and wacking sum standard sus back in!

pretty much feel like my teeth are gonna fall out when going over the railway crossing on Womma Rd lol

You should try the railway tracks on Torrens Rd going past Bombay. Need a 4WD to get over them :P

Ohh god they are shocking railway tracks. Gives me the shits going over them. I've tried to slow down to go over them, still not much difference to going 50-60 kms over them.

    • No. The ECU's hose is for a connetcion between the plenum (assuming single throttle body, not ITBs) and the ECU's internal MAP sensor. This is the primary load measurement of the ECU - so you need to get this one right. This has NOTHING to do with the boost contol. The wastegate also needs to see a boost signal - but it is actually far better for it NOT TO COME FROM THE PLENUM (again, assuming single TB, and not ITBs). This should come from the turbo's compressor housing (assuming there is a nipple on there, which there might well not be), or on the boost pipe somewhere between the turbo and the TB. On the pipe from the turbo to the intercooler is usually most convenient. The boost controller is then located between that boost source and the wastegate, ACCORDING TO THE CORRECT PLUMBING DRAWING FOR THAT BOOST CONTROLLER. There is no general diagram or instruction that will be correct for every case. Then the other ports on the plenum are for purposes such as Duncan described. If the boost controller has an internal MAP sensor, for a boost display, etc, then it will want to be hooked up there, alongside the ECU and the FPR.
    • Ok gotcha, so one post to fpr  another to bov  and I have the mishimoto boost controller and a link g4+ so I’d just have the tuner set it up properly. For the last two from plenum post throttle to  ecu/ boost controller, I know that I have a hose coming from the ecu that I was confused about so I assume that’s what connect to the boost controller from the ecu? And then the last is just from plenum to boost controller then to wastegate?
    • From there, it was just a quick electrical check, prime the oil and start her up Which, is not what happened. 1. Bloody seppo Aeropro battery holder. Not only was it too tall for the battery (which I'll forgive them for, I have another battery the same nominal size that is taller than Neil's one, but the bracket is a fixed height so the battery was spaced up) But the thing that really shits me is the hardware to hold it on requires a 7/32 Hex key. WTF. No-one will ever be able to remove or install the damn thing without a hex key they don't own 2. Kill switch no longer worked once the console was installed. Neil mentioned above he had to adjust the length but it no longer cleared the console once installed. Sorted. 3. Suspiciously, the brake light holders were hanging in the boot with no globes. Sure enough the stopper on the brake pedal was missing so they are always on unless the kill switch is activated. Will pick one up tomorrow (turns out 32 and 33 don't use the same stopper) 4. All that sorted, I turned on the kill switch, turned the key to ACC. Nothing. Turned it to IGN. Nothing. Checked some fuses and found the main IGN in the boot was missing which improved things once it was replaced. Now ECU and dash lights turn on with IGN but still no fuel pump. 5. Turned it to Start....ECU on, no fuel pump, no starter. Plus the voltage dropped straight to 9v.  I suspect the starter is f**ked but am going to have to work through it all and see what is happening, really looks like more than one issue. Does anyone have the R33 fuse box key with the circuit it sources from (eg BAT, ACC, IGN, SRT etc) and supplies? I can find a translated list showing Amps and circuit without supply circuit, and I can find supply circuit without Amps and target circuit.
    • 3rd time lucky, the AAC is now all plumbed up after getting some final fittings All set up under the plenum of maximum access
