Interior Lighting

hey don't crucify me for not putting this topic in car audio section, i didnt want to as the regulars in those forums can try and be heroes from time to time. anyway, has anybody got a circuit diagram for the interior lighting in a 33, or any skyline? are the reading lights (above the rearview mirror and roof light on the same circuit? any help would be appreciated

Have you checked the service manual? It may be in there somewhere...

If you can't find any sort of manual, you can always have both lights on, and proceed to start pulling fuses. If they both turn off when you pull a particular fuse, then yes they will be on the same circuit.

the roof light has always been intermittent and now the other lights go out when i open the drivers door. weird. if i open the passenger door the roof light comes on as normal but not when the drivers door is open. i took out the globes and put leds in everywhere and when they're all on with the doors closed they dim as if they're wired up in series...which is weird cos i know they're not. i know a fuse isnt broken cos at one time or another i can get them to work. but its very intermittent. i took the leds out and put the globes back in and they no longer work. i dunno, i want it to be all automated
