Bleeding The Clutch

Hi all,

I want to bleed the clutch in my R33 and change the fluid, I have two questions:

- 1. Which type of fluid do youu use, dot 3 or dot4?

- 2. which nipple do you bleed from? the one at the master cylinder or the slave (down near the gearbox)?

- If from the lower one then why is there a nipple at the cylinder in the engine bay?

DOT4 is backwards compatible where DOT3 is specified (correct me if im wrong), just don't put DOT5 in as it's silicon based, DOT5.1 is another story though.

you bleed both. I think you do master then slave...(forgive me its been a while since ive done it)

Bleed the master cylinder first, then the slave cylinder.
