R32 Gtr Dash And N1 Headlights

Ok,

I have got a R32 GTR 1989 model and want to put in a veilside or other aftermarket higher speedo dash.

Ive heard that there is a difference between the R32 GTR dashes and ill need a early model dash as the late model R32 dashes are different.

Is this right? Whats the difference?

Also just got N1 headlights and want to know the bulbs used in them?

yes there is a difference between early and late r32 gtr's dash clusters, exactly what the difference is im not sure but i do know they are not directly interchangeable. also unsure about exactly what bulbs for n1 lights, just take one of the headlights to an auto parts store (repco/supercheap etc) and they'll be able to tell you which ones fit

can you post a pic of the one you have now , just a warning be careful when removing since the plastics get brittle after a while. I have seen where one company in japan has installed a S15 dash into a R32, as for the mounting points should almost be the same maybe the loom plug and the speed sensor might be different, should be the same though

as for the headlight just make sure the tabs are not cracked and get a set of HID ballist from a Toyota product since they are easier to plug in the back of the head lights, I dont know with your Aussie MOT laws if that is allowed to run them on that spec.

hope it works out for ya, invest in a oil cooler, oil & water feed lines for the turbos and a nice radiator with an aux fan.

btw last part of your question as = where are they ? oh they are in the fosale section telling people how much parts should cost

but still need to know about the dashes, anyone?
