easiest thing to do is get underneath and take your downpipe off. get the pipe onto a bench and you can get at it much easier.

While you're at it, take out the cat and build a sidepipe.

Please? It will amuse us.

Hey bud, I have a 34 in mirrabooka not exactly a mechanic but I've got a decent sized tool set and some wd40 as suggested might be able to give you a hand bud.

PM me an i'll see how I go.

cheers,

Steve

Do you happen to work at Auto Pro by any chance??

i tryd getting it off with a spanner but had no room to move..

And thanks people for all the replys..

Get your downpipe off and put it on a bench. Use a regular ring spanner if you can get the plug through the hole (if not just snip the wires). Use a product "Loctite Freeze'n'Release". Furthermore, don't be a gay -- gibbiter and it'll crack.

Take the pipe off? Wow...long way of doing things?

I have a crows foot fitting that i use to do the O2 sensor. Assuming it is not siezed in there, 5 minutes will have the old one off, new one on. PM me if you would like a hand one evening.

Hey mate don't know what a crows foot fitting is.. sounds impressive =/

Just noticed you're in ellenbrook - were you crusing with 2 other skylines around lunchtime on sunday and passed a black 34 sedan with gold rims that waved??

Hey guys naa havent had the chance to sort it out

been stuck with work but ask a guy from work if he may have a tool since he has like heaps of tools and he will bring me one to work 2moro to see if it works

hopefully it all goes well coz i filld up agen today..

and naa dont think iv seen the black 34 around unless u drive around landsdale n mirrabooka..

crows feet spanners are just like ring spanners but a little section is cut out so u can put it over sensors and pipes ect.

its not that hard guys just take off the heatshield and any other bits of crap that might get in the way, ive taken mine off multiple times with a shifter and a little manpower

Firstly open the doors to the car and get in. Once inside look up at the HOOD, carefully remove the HOOD lining without damaging it. Find the O2 sensor and grab it. Then take the O2 sensor to the front of the car and locate the BONNET, The BONNET is the large piece if steel that runs from the windscreen to the bumper. Lift the BONNET and locate the O2 sensor hole, it then should be easy to refit the O2 sensor in the threaded hole as the O2 sensor was positioned incorrectly under the HOOD.

Come on we live in Australia not America! FFS it a bonnet not a hood. A trunk is what a elephant has and the black round things that go over the rims a called Tyres not Tires.

Sorry, just getting sick of all the USA crap

Just so you guys are in the know, you can actually buy special oxygen sensor sockets that have a split that the wire fits into.

Covs sells them =)

Yeh i had a look at them at auto pro $60 for the tool sockit..

but got it done now with another tool that is almost like that..

just seeing how its runs this week..
