hey guys well i baught a car from the hail damage auctions a month ago, it on road now driving it as a daily. Usually i dont give a shit about insurance so i didn't think about insurance till right... about.. now!

I called up aami just now to get a quote and the chik said i cant insure a hail damaged car unless its all fixed? WT$%%#$%#$???

most of the damage was on the bonnet that i replaced.. but why the %&^%&^* wont they insure a hail damaged car only for 3rd part?

right now the reason dosn't really matter... What i need to know is if anyone knows any other companies that insure hail dinted carss???

if this is solved ill shout all the sau members for dinner :)

Geez, I din't know that either. I'm surprised they won't do 3rd party. Not like golf ball panels would contribute to an accident. Hate to say this, but without insurance, the buy price on these damaged cars should be next to nothing. You wouldn't want to have an at-fault accident.

I would have thought that so long as they have enough pics of the damage, they'd still insure it.

Hope you sort it out.
