Cat R34 Gtt -> R33?

Just a question regarding the R34 CAT:

1. Is the R34 CAT any bigger compared to the R33 GTST one?
   
2. Would The R34 GTT CAT fit (with minor modifications) my R33 GTST S2?

All factory CAT's are horribly restrictive.

If you current one is stuffed, replace it with something better

I'm looking for a straight/test pipe for my GTT and it appears they are not interchangle. Most places in Japan listed the standard pipes and cats not interchangable with the R34 & C35. Haven't tried physically just learn from shopping for one as well.
