So you guys dont keep an eye on your air flow ratios?

Assuming you mean air/fuel ratios. Most people that don't have an upgraded fuel pump in their car are not going to have a wideband oxygen sensor and gauge either.

if my car gets dodgy fuel guage readings at times, like yo-yo's after half way that dangerous at all, is that any indication that the fuel pump is gona lean out etc....?

how can you tell if there not well or cant you?

You wait for it till you hear a loud thud, followed by a few bangs. Then its safe to say your fuel pump needs replacing.

I tend to go by the rule If it works and isn't broke dont fix it i run 300bhp atf on stock and its fine

if it brakes or stops working ill upgrade it
