Item:

*Genuine Watanabe Racing Wheels, gunmetal grey with polished lip - 4x100 - 16x7" - +38 offset. Lightweight and very strong track wheels.

*Barely used Yokohama Advan AO48 Semi Slicks - 195/50/16.

Location: Chirnside Park, VIC

Item Condition:

*All wheels in very good condition for their age. All have some gunmetal finish chipped/scratched off, would suit repainting for a fussy buyer however I never bothered as the wheels still look great. Very minor gutter rash on two wheels, not very noticeable at all.

*All tyres are barely used. They have seen less than 100km of street driving and one motorkhana day, therefore they've barely seen one heat cycle. They've been in storage for 6 months covered in plastic.

Reason for selling: I wouldn't be using them again for a while so rather than having them sitting around I'd rather free up some money.

Price and price conditions: $2,200 ono for both wheels and tyres. Will separate:

$900 ono for wheels.

$1300 ono for tyres.

Extra Info: Pick-up or postage at buyer's expense via courier.

Massive price drop - $1000. This price is NOT negotiable. This will be the last price drop before I just keep them for future use. $575 saving over the new price for tyres that barely touched the road.

    • I finally figured this out. That green part, can actually be pushed out. Mine was on the wrong angle because I messed around with it. So what needs to be done is the clockspring to be removed (the loom can't be removed so you need to pull the cable towards you to remove it off the shaft then let it rest on something so it's not dangling) Then you just make sure that the 3 green dots form a triangle and that the 3 holes on the steering wheel inserts into the 3 holes on the green part (you need to push out the green part to do this otherwise you'll keep having the issue with the indicators not cancelling)
    • Welcome back, If looking for a quality workshop AK Racing are the go to for everything these days. No fancy socials or attention seeking just quality work and good people. Can do everything from general servicing to full race builds that do very well at local and international events.

    • Oh very very true ! I'm honestly thinking about taking my entire R33 series 3 red stitch GTR interiour out of my car, selling it and buying a small house !  I spotted as pair of R400 GTR seats on GumBay on the interweb and they were asking around the 12K mark !
    • A few pop up now and then, but you're right, definitely not as often or as cheap as it was back then. Even non GTR seats are a joke these days, pretty sure you could have gotten one for a zinger box or pack of Winnie blues.
