I've ordered a new Tial MVR Wastegate, and it has a waterjacket built into the gate to control diaphram heat.

I want save myself some extra braided lines and run the water feed from the turbo into the the Tial and then back to the engine?

Or should the system be built with 2 separte lines?? I hope not, I have space issues!

I'm thinking that there should not be an issue running water through the turbo then to the wastegate and then back to the engine..

Thoughts guys..

i would do it as above. There would be bugger all heatsoak through the gate in all but the tightest engine bays, where as there'd be a heap though the core of the turbo.

That assumes the water fitting size is the same as i wouldn't want to restrict coolant flow to the turbo core

the tial gates are threaded so you can put whatever fitting you like in there. EDIT: looks like it comes with two -4 AN fittings. it is fairly small i guess you may be able to change that to -6 in same thread.

not sure what the point in water cooled gate is tho... would be benificial on a race car but not on a street car. you dont have to run them watercooled either.
