yep, that's the pump. and like marlin said give link a try. if they are in the ballpark just buy it off them. around $500 or so is average. maybe $600 though with todays crappy AUD.

Rack rate is $700 from Link. Streeter was $540. Purchased :banana: .

Next, rear diff is leaking and is making a small bearing noise. I'll prob need to fix this up when I roadworthy the car to get it into my name (currently in the business' name) before it gets all caged up. My options are reco or get some sort of new LSD like a Nismo or Kaaz etc. I'm not sure what gets reco'ed generally. Just the bearings, lsd 'clutches' and reset crown and pinion for backlash? If I go the reco route, are there kits you can buy? What do they cost? Seals, bearings, plates (and yes Richard I'm considering what you've got for sale)? Cost of a new centre is about $1500 plus R&R, so I'd hope the reco route would be significantly cheaper. Thoughts / suggestions? Just take it to a diff reco joint?

I think a Baron clutch pack would be the go, but ask the shop to ensure the ring gear and pinion can be properly set up before committing to fixing that diff. (backlashed and pinion depth). it may have gone too long at it's current setup and have permanent marks in the gears making it impossible to shut up.
