Guys if it is taking more than 6 weeks just for compliance that means they using your car as test car and can take anywhere up to 10 months. In this case they workshop should give you discount or more appropriate free compliance. Clickin the link below and see if your workship has the compliance plate for it. Guys I'n Importing their is no average wait it is dependent on so many different variables. Workshops won't take on work without plates for import approvals. As Kristian said above that is a very good case scenario. At the end of the day the customer will get their car they just have to be patient with everyone involved because 99% it is the approval and plates that are the delay.
