Hey guys

My R32 GTSt has been sitting for around 6-7 mounths.

I will be doing the main service things on the weekend, e,g: oil change, plugs an so on.

Just wondering if there is any un-thought of things i should check whilst doing a service to make sure its long sit hasent stuffed anything.

Thanks.

dont know how newer cars go but with older cars after sitting for 6 months wirh out been started periodicly you would expect your crank berings to be compressed and your rear main seal would start leaking but as i said it was common with old cars !! newer enginers may have found a way to avoid this .

but im sure someone on here will say im wrong etherway it happend to me with a holden gemini

I always ran the car each week for about 20min and went for little drives round the back yard lol.

So hopefully she just needs a good service.

In that case, I think you've just answered your own Q.

Now you can prepare :D to clean it up > join the ACT convoy (just up the Hume) > R32 21st Birthday Cruise from Penrith to Katoomba in Oct + Private screening of '92 Bathurst 1000 @ Edge Cinema :)
